We use two types of materials depending on the product specifications; GENERAL PURPOSE POLYSTYRENE or HIGH IMPACT POLYSTYRENE. Both are low cost, hard, rigid materials with high gloss and transparency and available in a wide range of colours. The HIPS material is used when a certain impact resistance is required, both materials are widely used for household appliances, toys, disposable cups and more.
HIGH DENSITY POLYETHYLENE (HDPE) is one of the most versatile thermoplastic materials to manufacture with. It has great rigidity, hardness, heat resistance, chemical resistances and is very easy to colour. HDPE is used to make every thing from bottles and packaging to toys and appliances.
Acrylic is a hard, rigid material which maintains its clarity even with thick sections or long exposure to the outside atmosphere. Mouldings can be joined using solvents or welded using ultrasonic welding. Parts can be machined but care needs to be taken as it is easily scratched.
Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS) is a tough material with a wide range of possible properties ranging from high impact, scratch resistance, high gloss, mechanical strength and good dimensional stability. Mouldings can be easily machined on conventional machinery and can be joined by welding or adhesives.

We are able to design and produce a wide range of Hardened Steel Tooling, from Multi Part Complex Moulds for Zinc alloy casting to the simpler etched block used for Stamping.
Every set of Tooling is designed to meet the specific requirements that different manufacturing processes may require.
Our Dedicated Quality Control teams ensure our Client’s high standards are maintained throughout every production run, from the very first product to the last.
We work within recognised AQL levels and make sure that not only the look of each item is correct, but that they are suitable for their intended purpose. This is especially important with the more complex items and Stopper Projects.
We are more than happy to accommodate an external QC inspection team and welcome client visits and personal inspections.
Many of the Stoppers and other items have a secondary or even tertiary part that needs to be added or attached to the base. These could include decorative Hand Cut Glass Gems, Plastic HIPS Fixings for Corks or other decorative attachments. These adornments are assembled and attached in the final fixings stages of the production line.

This specialist Stopper is covered in fine detail taking inspiration from American Wild West Heritage. A fine filigree pattern adorns the sides of the stopper inspired by an engraving taken from the side of Billy the Kids Revolver.
Cast in high quality zinc alloy and plated with an antique brass plating to highlight the extreme level of detail. The matching collar and chain provide security to make sure the stopper is firmly attached to the bottle even when on your horse!
This form of plating uses a fine film of charged particles on the surface of the target item and can give a more corrosive resistant and harder plated finish than some traditional methods.
At extremely low pressure solid metal vaporises, it then becomes electric ions when heated and bombarded by electrons, it is accelerated by a magnetic field in a vacuum environment to coat the target item’s surface.
We use Precious and Semi-Precious metals to plate the items we produce. Gold and Silver colours are very appealing and give a Regal and Expensive look. They are also ideal to use as many of the items we make have to meet certain safety standards.
For the Brass Stopper with Black Gem Project, it took over 6 months to develop a method to achieve the burnt Gold Antique Effect.
